As I said, I've been archiving things myself. I have two ongoing archives of old YouTube videos and links to old websites rendered unreachable by the degradation of most search engines. I recommend using the great search engine wiby to find these websites, and I recommend incorporating it as an active engine in your browser. For YouTube it's more difficult, but your search query followed by 'before:2009; or whatever year should help. Below are my ongoing archive documents in txt form, one for random websites, one for old YouTube videos. There's no consistent theming to their content, I just think they're great. These will be updated periodically with new material, so current versions may be outdated. Dedicated pages for them will be made in due time. For now, they will simply be text files directly downloaded upon clicking.
